Health before hype
Thoughtful screening, responsible pairings, and candid communication form the foundation.
Our cattery
Raised at home,
never at scale.
Golden Whiskers is a small, family-centered demonstration cattery brand inspired by a love of the Maine Coon’s wild beauty and deeply companionable nature.
HOME RAISED
The heart of the program
Beautiful cats begin with a beautiful life.
Our kittens are imagined growing up underfoot: hearing the vacuum, meeting kind visitors, learning household rhythms, and discovering that hands bring comfort. Every pairing is planned around health, complementary structure, and temperament.
We value transparency over theater. Families receive clear milestones, practical preparation, and support that continues well beyond pickup day.
What guides us
Temperament matters
Confidence and connection are nurtured through handling, novelty, play, and rest.
Every home is personal
Matching considers energy, household rhythm, other pets, and long-term expectations.
